The restricted site and limited access for the Verizon Wireless Data Center were no match for Sure Steel and their proficient project team. The two-story, 130,500 SqFt data center in Rocklin, California required heavy coordination and strategic planning from Sure Steel in order to supply and erect the 1,405 tons of steel safely and on time, but Sure Steel worked closely with all project stakeholders to complete the $4.6M turnkey contract in a safe and efficient manner. Sure Steel leveraged just-in-time deliveries to overcome the minimal laydown yard, utilized 19,500 man hours and overtime to meet the aggressive 12-week time frame, and provided a full-time, on-site safety manager to make sure that everyone went home safe each day.
