Sure Steel partnered with Holder Construction to complete a 22,000 SqFt build-out of the existing space to support new equipment for the West Jordan data center. The $1.4M project involved supplying and installing structural steel frames to support the Hot and Cold equipment panels, replacing joist from inside the structure to support new rooftop units, and installing reinforcing members throughout the space. Sure Steel safely installed approximately 350 tons of structural steel on this project. With limited access, restricted working space, and many other major trades working simultaneously, Sure Steel carefully collaborated with the project team through BIM Coordination, safety planning, and constant communication to ensure that the project ran smoothly.
