Target Santa Rosa

As an addition to an existing shopping center in Santa Rosa, California, the new Target Store #T-2804 is a 145,848 square foot retail store constructed of CMU masonry bearing walls with structural steel columns and metal joists and decking. Sure Steel was contracted by Fabco Metal Products, LLC, the supplier of the structural steel, to erect the 510 tons required on the project. One of the challenges that this project faced was that it was located in an existing, operating shopping complex with minimal site access and was enclosed on three of the four sides. Sure Steel was careful to limit impact on shopping patrons while maintaining efficiency in the installation process. Sure Steel also worked over 5,200 man hours without any safety incidents; a testament to the safety culture created and lived by everyone at Sure Steel.
