Sure Steel is proud to have served as the steel and IMP contractor for this battery plant facility located in West Virginia. This project, which began in 2023 and reached completion in 2024, stands as a testament to Sure Steel’s commitment to excellence in safety, quality, and schedule as it pertains to steel erection, IMP walls, and SSR roof panel installation.
Spanning an impressive 420,000 square feet, this battery plant was developed as a design-assist, metal building system. This project also consisted of another 120,000 square feet of mezzanine steel for office and manufacturing capabilities. The collaborative efforts with Massaro Corporation were crucial to the project’s success. Together, we meticulously planned and executed the erection of 2,100 tons of steel, ensuring that each phase of construction adhered to the highest standards of safety and quality.
The scale and complexity of this project demanded extensive resources and expertise. Sure Steel dedicated approximately 50,000 man-hours to bring this vision to life.
