This two story, 82,000 square foot hospital was supplied and erected by Sure Steel in Barstow, California for Layton Construction. This project was an OSHPD project and was completed with little to no issues with the steel submittal and erection processes. This project also utilized BIM for engineering, detailing, and clash detection. Every detail of this project was implemented into the BIM model, down to the layout of the floor decking. Sure Steel was told by the project team that this was one of the smoothest steel erection projects they had ever been a part of.
