University of Utah – Farmington Health Center

The Univeristy of Utah Farmington Health Center, located in Farmington, Utah. This is a state of-the-art, multi-specialty clinic offering primary, urgent, and specialty care services. Sure Steel was invited by Layton Construction to be a part of the design/build team early in the process. After project award, Sure Steel worked closely with Layton to provide design-assist services throughout the preconstruction phase. This helped keep the project within the GMP by providing real time budgets, erectability reviews, and value engineering ideas. Our preconstruction team worked closely with team partners to help make the project a success. The 128,000 SqFt clinic contains just over 1,100 tons of steel and was completed within the project schedule. Safety, as always, was a big priority on this project and it was completed without any lost-time injuries.
