UHS Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center

In 2019, Sure Steel was selected as the Design/Assist partner for the supply and erection of the UHS Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center. This project, located in Northern Nevada, required meticulous planning and precise execution to meet the high standards expected for a medical facility of its caliber.

The UHS Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center project was a structural steel project consisting of 315,747 square feet of space. Sure Steel was responsible for detailing, fabricating, and erecting 3,473 tons of steel, a task that demanded not only technical expertise but also rigorous safety and quality control measures. Throughout the project, Sure Steel’s team demonstrated unwavering commitment and skill, ensuring that every phase of the construction met the stringent specifications.

During the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we fully mobilized our team and diligently followed all recommended safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. By September 2020, the project was successfully completed after approximately 42,000 man hours.
